In higher ranks, especially Legendary, this vehicle struggles in races due to its lower top speed compared to faster vehicles such as the Racing Truck, Rally Car, Super Diesel and Superbike. It has a really high amount of grip at max level, up to 1000! This is a great vehicle to drive in Adventure mode due to its climbing ability, especially when the right Tuning Parts are used, such as Winter Tires, Wheelie Boost, Fume Boost, and Coin Boost. The Dune Buggy is a good vehicle to use for beginners, as it has a good top speed, going up to 78.26km/h (48.62mph or 21.73m/s). The Rally Car comes with 13 different paints and 13 different wheels (VIP paint and wheels aren't included).Dune Buggy is one of the vehicles available in the game Hill Climb Racing 2. See Vehicle Paints List for pictures and more information. This may also cause a strange behaviour where the Rally Car leans forward more than intended, causing to flip the car entirely on small jumps and disrupting the race/event. This can provide certain advantages but also dampen some of the Rally Car's abilities under downforce. A note to make when driving the Rally Car is that the front "scoop" covering the engine can be broken off, decreasing downforce.

Its aerodynamic effect can also help at "gliding" over a certain distance. The cabin is fairly protected, able to keep the driver safe from slight and medium hits before it gets broken. Equipping Overcharged Turbo may help the vehicle overcome steep terrain or get it to full speed quickly. The Rally Car also suffers from a lack of grip.

The Start Boost part can mitigate this problem. However, it does not have very good acceleration, so at the beginning of a race, this is when the rest of the racers get a chance to put as much distance as they can between themselves and Rally Car. The Rally Car is a very good car for both adventure and cups mode due to its moderate fuel consumption, excellent top speed, and very good hill climbing skills. Rally Car is one of the vehicles available in the game Hill Climb Racing 2.
